Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

The 2.5 Ring Ported Barrel relieves pressure off the tongue whilst introducing some poll pressure.

A 2.5 Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2½ Ring version is the softest version of ring bit as the ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.

The Ported Barrel was created to relieve pressure on the tongue via the the medium port, which creates space for the tongue. The Barrel joint relieves pressure on the bars by spreading it over a larger area and limiting the nut cracker action of a conventional snaffle.

This bit comes with a back strap. When using the back strap this should be introduced loosely and then tightened one hole at a time. The back strap tightened will increases the leverage and the reaction will be quicker (therefore sharper) on the horse's mouth/poll.
